Where: 3rd Arrondissement, Paris
My all-time favourite museum in Paris, the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature feels like an appropriate place to begin this collection of museum adventures. It combines the interior design of a 5* hotel with incredible taxidermy displays, thought-provoking modern art, and cabinet after cabinet of antique rifles. An odd sounding mix, admittedly, but it is absolutely captivating. I also particularly appreciated the written interpretive cards – learn more if you’d like to, admire the decor if you’d rather not. Very chic, a little strange, unashamedly French.
