The Musée de l’Homme really does what it says on the tin – exploring Homo sapiens from our biology and evolution through cultures and languages and into contemporary works of art. Taking in archaeology, biological and social anthropology, I felt like I’d re-taken the first year of my degree in my afternoon visit and enjoyed every minute. It was a joy to see a range of exciting displays and the interpretation of the objects was clear, interesting and accurate. All in all, this is an exciting space with lots of stories to tell.
Don’t miss: This museum has some really lovely sensory exhibits – I loved being able to press a button and smell a fire and the “Wall of Tongues” was absolutely inspired
