Where: 3rd Arrondissement, Paris
While this is undeniably a lovely museum (with a very good roof terrace café, just by the by) my one major problem with it was that there just wasn’t that much…Picasso? It seems a bit of a strange thing to think and perhaps I’m being unfair, but on speaking to a friend who knows a lot more about Picasso than I do, she also lamented the relatively few examples from his rose period, from his blue period, of his female nudes. What was there was very tastefully displayed, and I loved watching the (inevitable) hoards of school children gaping at pieces they recognised from text-books, but I could just have done with a bit more!
